ROTOR flavoured bikes: Berria Belador Hybrid 7

Spanish brand Berria regularly turns to ROTOR bike components to assemble some of their best bikes. A good example is among its road ebikes, such as Berria Belador Hybrid 7.

Headquartered in the town of Villarobledo (Albacete, Spain), Berria is one of those bicycle brands that combines the design and manufacture of bicycles, following the most modern technologies, with the possibility of personalizing them to suit the cyclist, almost as it used to be, few years ago, when buying a bike for parts or components was commonplace.

Berria´s catalogue is divided between MTB (XC and Trail) and road, but always seeking to offer maximum performance with each and every one of its models. Each of these bicycles, moreover has its ebike equivalent, as in the case of Berria Belador Hybrid 7, the protagonist of this article, derived from the Berria Belador road competition bicycle.

The soul of the bike is a carbon monocoque frame with ´endurance´ geometry, without forgetting aerodynamic angles in strategic areas. The internal routing and the ´flat mount´ assembly of the disc brakes are other values, in addition to a wheel clearance allowed to 32 mm (it mounts 28 mm tires).

For the engine, Berria has turned here to the Italian company Polini to mount its EP3+ (75nm), Polini 500 Wh battery and 3" TFT display to control the three power modes (Touring, Dynamic and Race) and other complementary settings.

At the drivetrain, Berria trust in Shimano and its 11-speed mechanical Ultegra group, where ROTOR takes center stage, with the presence of its ROTOR Vegast aluminum cranks, to choose between 170 or 175 mm in length, with OCP Mount technology (Optimum Chainring Position Mount) and 52-36T aero chainrings- although chainrings may vary depending on final version-.

As we said, one of the great values of Berria is to offer the customer a wide capacity to customize their bicylcle, and in the case of the Berria Belador Hybrid 7, it could not be less, for example, with the wheels. Starting from the aluminium Fulcrum 800 DB wheels we can improve to Mavic Cosmic SL 45, already in carbon, or the superior Cosmic SLR 32.

Other components with options by the customer are stem (FSA ACR) and handlebar (Avanforce UD Carbon), where we can choose length and width, respectively, depending on our needs.

The starting price of the Berria Belador Hybrid 7, with the initial configuration, is 6.399 euros.
