ROTOR releases new INspider® MTB  power meter

The Spanish brand ROTOR has created a new power meter compatible with all frames on the market, which wants to make a difference in the different and strict MTB routines. The new INspider® MTB  has details that make it the most innovative power meter in the cycling market.

INspider® MTB  qualities

The INspider® MTB is manufactured from 7075-T6 aeronautical aluminum by CNC machining, allowing the best performance for the most demanding cyclists.

Its weight has been reduced by 32% compared to the previous version, resulting in a final weight of 105 g, also reducing its outer diameter. In order to achieve the highest performance for mountain bikers, ROTOR, with its new power meter, has developed a new 100x4 BCD, capable of being used with chainrings up to 30 teeth. Thanks to Universal Tooth technology, the 100x4 chainrings are compatible with Shimano® and SRAM® Eagle® 1x12 and 1x11 chains.

The INspider® MTB with KAPIC or KAPIC CARBON cranks becomes one of the lightest power meter cranksets on the market.

Adapted for everyone, from beginner riders to those who want to push their MTB limits, ROTOR's power meter is positioned so that it considerably avoids the possibility of damage.

INspider® MTB thermal compensation ensures accurate values in temperatures between -20ºC and 50ºC. ROTOR has its own metrics such as OCA and OCP, as well as connectivity with ANT+TM and Bluetooth® Smart monitors.

The user must make sure that the OCP points are configured correctly. If you do not know which one it is, start from point number 3 and then the software will look for the one that best adapts to your situation.

As for the manufacture of the product, INspider® MTB by ROTOR, it has a graduated shape with a little more than 10mm of clearance from the chainring, allowing space for the chain when we mount 30 or 32 tooth chainrings. The screws have also been renewed as they are directly screwed to the chainring, and are made of steel.
