Kapic Carbon Cranks
*Only crank arms are included. If you also need the spindle get it here.
ROTOR Kapic Carbon Cranks are ROTOR´s lightest and stiffest road cranks ever at 371 g (170 mm cranks + spindle) and has been developed in response to cutting edge bike designs of the modern MTB rider, to withstand the most demanding riding conditions with an incredible result in weight, strength and rigidity.
ROTOR has used all the knowledge of decades manufacturing the best cranks on the market to make the great leap to carbon fibre. ROTOR has created an exceptionally light crankset to meet the highest demands of pros from the explosive pedal power required at XCO World Cup circuits to the endurance and recovery riding of the epic XCM marathon stage races.

High Modulus carbon fiber made
Unlike conventional carbon crank arms, Kapic Carbon crank arms are manufactured from high-modulus carbon fibre, produced through a high-temperature graphitization process exceeding 2000 ºC. The result is exceptional stiffness, outstanding dimensional stability and highly efficient power transfer.

30mm Spindle: Stiffer and lighter
Kapic Carbon cranks arms are exclusively available with our 30 mm spindles. This offers a significant advantage, as the spindle is manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminium and its thicker diameter design makes it both lighter and stiffer. Hence, the combination of Kapic Carbon crank arms and our 30 mm Kapic spindles delivers lower weight and greater stiffness compared to traditional 24 mm steel spindles.

Twin Leg Technology®
The patented interface between crank arms and spindle offers a simple assembly but with a firm fit. This design solves a specific problem, which is that power losses are mainly generated by axle torsion under pedaling force. To address this, the robust axle reduces power losses that occur when force is exerted on the left pedal. The balance achieved to minimize these losses is called Twin Leg Technology®.
