The YBN 12-speed chain is ROTOR's preferred chain for 12-speed groupsets, as it is one of the lightest on the market and comes with a simple silver nitride coating. The durability of the chain is due to the hardened chromium carbide surface treatment - a process that increases the hardness of the pins by a special surface treatment many times over.
