Wireless, Modular, and Scalable Technology
ROTOR UNO was born with a clear goal: to offer a modern, precise, and flexible alternative for cyclists seeking the best on every ride. We’ve developed a fully wireless system, compatible with Bluetooth® and ANT+™, enabling fast (150 ms per shift), silent, and cable-free shifting. Thanks to its modular design, ROTOR UNO adapts to 10, 11, 12, and 13-speed drivetrains and allows system expansion with new components without replacing the entire group. The rear derailleur acts as the brain of the system, facilitating future updates and compatibility.
ROTOR UNO MTB: Performance and Lightness for Mountain Riding
The MTB version includes a rear derailleur and a handlebar shifter, with a total weight under 453 g, including the battery. Shifting is extremely precise and fast, and the internal 600 mAh battery supports up to 15,000 shifts. The shifter is designed for ergonomics, lightness, and durability, featuring a motion-activated auto-on system and IP67 protection. This version does not include brakes, giving users the freedom to choose based on their discipline and preferences.
ROTOR UNO Gravel: Simplicity and Efficiency
For gravel, ROTOR UNO uses the same rear derailleur but with a lighter and more compact pulley cage. We’ve opted for a 1X system, without a front derailleur, simplifying the setup and reducing weight without compromising gear range. The brake levers are optimized for excellent grip in wet conditions, with carbon levers, titanium clamps, and hydraulic brakes featuring ceramic pistons. The system allows brake lever travel adjustment up to 26 mm, and is compatible with 160 mm rotors and Shimano® pads.
ROTOR UNO App: Full Control from Your Phone
Our ROTOR UNO app, available for iOS and Android, allows pairing, configuring, and updating all drivetrain components. From gear selection to battery status, everything is within reach of the rider. Updates are done via OTA (Over The Air), ensuring the system is always up to date.
Compatibility and Customization
At ROTOR, we believe in modularity and freedom of choice. That’s why ROTOR UNO is compatible with cassettes from various brands and crankset levels in aluminum or carbon. In its most advanced version, we offer combinations with Kapic or Aldhu carbon cranks, INspider power meter, and ROTOR 12-speed cassette, one of the lightest on the market.
